This lesson looks at themes of preserving, collecting, and how our choices provide information about our diverse community, using an artwork in Remai Modern’s permanent collection, The Pink Pantry, by Regina artist Victor Cicansky. The lesson includes support materials to help the educator teach methods of art viewing, and step by step instructions for a hands-on engaging art project that encourages students to use their personal histories and memories as inspiration.
